The new Mallorca Rocks Hotel opening party on Sunday 6th June will be headlined by The Kooks.
Luke Pritchard, The Kooks, said: “We’re well excited to be asked to open Mallorca Rocks Hotel. Can’t wait to play the new album to a crowd like that, if they’re anything like the Ibizan crowd. We shall see you all there in the sun.”
Mallorca Rocks Hotel, situated in the very heart of Magaluf is a massive 12-building affair set around a huge 85-metre lagoon-like pool, surrounded by three new bars, a restaurant and the Mallorca Rocks fashion store. Palm trees, tropical gardens and a chill out terrace make up the vibrant outdoor scene. There is also a five-a-side football pitch and a sports complex with tennis courts nearby plus watersports on the beach, so days can be as lazy or as lively as guests choose. Gigs will be as live and as loud as guests expect!
Andy McKay, Promoter said: “The Kooks were with us when it all began, when both band and brand were in their infancy. It’s a real coup to be celebrating our success together, five years on, at the launch of Mallorca Rocks Hotel. We are an unrivalled youth brand and this exciting new venture is further proof of our commitment to providing great quality accommodation and entertainment at great value.”
Special introductory deals start from £77 per person for a 7-night stay including ticket for The Kooks (if booked before 28/2, for a stay during 5/6 to 12/6 in a self-catering apartment, 4 sharing. Flights not included).
We can also exclusively reveal that Zane Lowe from Radio 1 will DJ and that the headlining act for the following opening party at Ibiza Rocks Hotel on Tuesday 8th June won’t be The Kooks.
