Pukka Up at Space, Ibiza

May 13th, 2010

Famous club night Pukka Up scores an Ibiza 2010 hat trick announcing a new residency at SPACE, the island’s first ever Silent Disco and not ONE, but TWO boat parties.

Renowned for its mad-capped sunset cruises and a 5 year Es Paradis residency the ‘hedonistic ‘house night’s 7th season is tipped to be “its most outrageous yet.”

Pukka Up’s famous weekly sunset cruise kicks-off from San Antonio Harbour on Tuesday 8th June. Then, after three hours of sun-kissed hedonism it’s off to ‘Carl Cox & Friends’ at Space. For the first time ever the super club’s ‘El Salon’ arena will be decked out in Pukka Up’s 2010 incredible new theme. And, yes, you’ve guessed it, this year’s “The World Cup Summer Scoop” is about UK Newspapers and the Football World Cup 2010.

If that’s not enough, the ever innovative Pukka Up brings the first ever Silent Disco King Headphone Party to Space. Clubbers can listen to two channels through special Pukka Up Pink headphones. The partying begins at 10PM and the Silent Disco starts at 2AM. Headphones will be provided free-of-charge to boat party ticket holders!

Artists on rotation for Pukka Up include: Jaguar Skills (Radio 1), Kaiser Chiefs (DJ), White Lies (DJ), Futureheads (DJ), Babyshambles (DJ), David Dunne (Galaxy FM), Sean Scott (Kiss), Jamie Theaker (NME) and Anton Powers (Juice FM).

A close source said:
“Space is a truly magnificent venue so these parties are going to be incredible. Not only will you get the intimate and connected vibe that Pukka Up brings but also the get the chance to explore he exhilaration of Space’s famous terraces and rooms, while the Silent Disco will provide a little bit of extra fun.”

For the first time ever Pukka Up is also running an intimate 250 capacity Thursday night boat cruise, but with a twist as all the DJs are members of world famous bands.
Musicians from bands such as Kaiser Chiefs, White Lies and Babyshambles will be rocking the boat from 18:30-21:30. What’s more the boat ticket includes FREE entry to Come Together at Space with Zane Lowe.

Not content with shows on MTV and Living, this year’s action on the boat and club and will also be recorded live and broadcast on nationwide radio every week. But remember to watch out for our teams of PU ‘Dirty Players’ as they intend to cook up more mischief than a footballer in a Miss World competition.
