THE Kurru Kurru GOLD COLLECTION launch at KM 5, on Tuesday was a phenominal success. TV, radio and print reporters from all around europe captured the Ibiza based designer labels new collection for 2009/10.

World famous Hairdresser Nicky Clarke stepped in to be part of this insanely busy one off show and the Ibiza fashion set bought out the entire collection within minutes of the show ending…

Kurru Kurru held a fashion show thing tonight at Atzaro in conjunction with 2 other fashion shops in Ibiza, namely Graffiti and reVOLVER. The north’s great and good and beautiful people turned up in force to watch them recreate the Virgin Atlantic 25th anniversary advert and put on a bit of a fashion show - you know, the one with Frankie Goes to Hollywood and the red-dressed stewardesses. The funny part is that one of the ibizaA-Z team had a starring role in the video - cant wait to see it…

We could’ve taken the professional camera but there were loads of photographers there and we have to do the job at Ibiza Rocks tomorrow night (Tuesday) so we thought we’d have a night off. Great fun - thanks everyone

The main event

Sushi Point in Ibiza Town’s Marina Botafoch was the focal point for the party people of Ibiza this Monday (18th May) where the first of many SO GLAM IBIZA events took place. The second the doors opened at 7pm, floods of Ibiza’s fashion lovers floated through the door and by 8pm were overflowing into the marina terrace.

Drinks, Sushi catching up with friends and dancing was the order of the day and by sunset, the main display from the fashion label Kurru Kurru, the atmosphere was electric.

Ibiza’s fashionistas turned out in force for the opening party of Ibiza’s very own homegrown designer label Kurru Kurru on saturday.

Plaza del Parque in Ibiza town was briefly turned into a fairytale extravaganza, scattered with thousands of rose petals, four stunning beauties showcased the couture creations of Marinela Cifteli, owner/designer and Ricardo Coelho, designer, in a unique show.

Even the rain couldn’t stop the arrivals and guests were introduced to the new additions of the Kurru Kurru capsule collection.

The new metallic lambs leather bikini’s and elegant, vibrant sarongs were the talk of the evening as well as the fabulous pink rose wine, Ibizkus that matched the event perfectly.

Kurru Kurru’s official opening party will take place on Saturday 11th April with a canape and cocktail reception and a surprise show, at the shop, Plaza del Parque from 6pm onwards. Come and meet the new members of the team and soak in the afternoon Easter sun in Ibiza’s most famous rendezvous square. www.kurrukurru.com

Kurru Kurru’s showroom in Plaza del Parque opens it doors to the public on Monday 3rd April.
We will be open from 10am to midnight each day, 7 days per week all year round. They are very much looking forward to welcoming you and please feel free to visit them.
