At long last the google maps satellite imagery of Santa Eulalia marina and Ibiza has finally been updated. Prior to now all you could see of the marina was a very blurred and out of focus image.

They have also updated most of the island as far as we can tell: The tunnel at San Rafael, the school at San Juan and the ring road around Ibiza and the new road to the airport. You can also now see the writing of “Es Vive” in the hotel pool, San Antonio’s new bus station… Golfers on the Roca Lisa golf course, the new Fenicia hotel, we’ve now got hours of fun!

The resolution has been increased and you can now zoom in fully (which means can release the “zoom-in” restirictions on all our maps).

You couldn’t make it up…

After the rumours the past few days, Ibiza Rocks on Tuesday with The Twang and Dirty Pretty Things will be held at the old Zoo just outside San Antonio. The venue for the remaining dates have yet to be confirmed.

The Holloways, supported by Vinny Vinny from London have been added to the impressive lineups and its only a week to go now before the Ibiza Rocks season kicks off at Bar M down in San An.

The View & Rumble Strips will be opening the proceedings on the 19th and there will be a weekly after party in the Global Room at Pacha from 2am till 6am.

With gigs from The Fratellis, Artic Monkeys, CSS & Kasabien to name a few, we’re really looking forward to a summer of live music.

We’ve been hard at work to create a single page with all the google maps we’ve done so far. Now you can pick and choose what to display on the same map. Petrol stations, phone boxes, bus stops, beaches, towns etc. When you click on a town name for example, it automatically zooms to show all the markers for that town.
