Its been a long late afternoon and an extremely pleasant one spent with Cathal (aka chas smash) of Madness. We’ve been treated to 2 spontaneous acoustic songs, spoken poems and 2 songs on his piano – in addition to watching the drafts of the dvd and the album and its all brilliant and then another work in progress on the guitar… We met up locally but he quickly wanted to to go back to his house and play some stuff – Chas drove us to his house and on the way played us new stuff and sang the lyrics in the car… we then chewed the fat on music, ibiza and everything – very very enjoyable – tons of stuff to say.
