san agustin, ibizaContinuing our a-z of Ibiza and Formentera’s towns and villages – here’s the tiny hamlet of San Agustin:

This tiny village of San Agustin in Ibiza lies quietly slumbering alongside the road between San Jose and San Antonio.

Set in a landscape of olive, almond and carob trees are numerous little fincas spreading out into the surronding countryside, from the central church.

An ancient defence tower and a tobacconist completes San Agustin village centre, since the only bar in town recently shut down…

Tomorrow’s is arguably the most known (infamous?) town of them all…
