The IFCC are pleased to announce that their recent opera night, held in the beautiful new Congress Palace in Sta Eulalia, was highly successful, raising 6,800€ for the local cancer cause.
The Association would like to thank all those who helped in its organisation, especially Margarita Kinsberger. We should also like to thank Ibiza Heute/Ibiza Now for its support.

We would like to take this opportunity to publish details of our activities and amounts raised and spent during 2006 – 2007, on the islands of Ibiza & Formentera


31,318 € helping needy cancer sufferers, including operations.
4,973 € support for Can Misses staff in paliative care.
4,008 € to assist anti-tobacco campaign.
32,500 € new machine to detect lung & other tumours
14,893 € new chemotherapy treatment chairs for Can Misses
4,675 € new furniture for Can Misses cancer waiting room
5,856 € translations & printing of back-up booklets
950 € translation services at hospitals
2,634 € printing costs, including posters, pamphlets, Xmas Cards, later sold to raise money
332 € notary charges for inheritance donation
430 € insurance for cancer fair
472 € fair expenses
2,127 € various including bank charges, returned quotas etc.
These are our only administrative costs !

Total spent 2006-7………..105,168 Euros

Income was generated from the following events, organised by unpaid volunteers, plus donations:
Christmas Fair, Xmas card sales, Flag Days, Easter Fair, Sponsored walks and bicycle events, Hotel Palladium dinner/dance, Opera Nights, the Tony North Golf Tournament, Raffles, Personal donations, Members subscriptions, Collecting boxes, Bank interest etc.
Total Amount raised 2006-7……..146,618 Euros

Our local organisation depends entirely on the work of non-paid island volunteers. All funds raised are spent on the cancer cause in Ibiza and Formentera.
In response to enquiries regarding our Christmas Fair, this year it will be held on Saturday December 14th at the Recinto Ferial.
