Ocho Restaurant, Ibiza opening party review and photos
Posted by: admin in ibiza, lenny ibizarre, ocho restaurant‘Ocho’ the hugely anticipated new restaurant on the San Juan road opened tonight, sort of next door to Bambuddha Grove in a country mile sort of context…
The San Juan road, otherwise known as the Restaurant Mile, is notoriously fast and narrow so car parking facilities had been enlarged as far as possible to cope with the anticipated rush to the revival of this once ultra-hip venue of years gone by.
Nonetheless the car parks were swamped as the ‘world and his wife’ of island residents flocked to survey the best efforts of Leah Tilbury and John Broekman opening up shop upon their return from exile in Formentera, where their bohemian Las Banderas hotel on Playa Mitjorn was a quirky and glamorous hotel frequented by A-listers from around the world.
The opening party was an opportunity for renewing old acquaintances and the buzz of conversation was all that could be heard as those honoured with invitations circulated and admired the new set up and impressive decor.
