Playa des RiuPlaya des Riu
Some 400 metres long and 100 metres deep, Playa Des Riu beach is rarely crowded by virtue of its size.

They have a good and extensive range of water sports available making this a popular for young people and those with families.

Additionally, being so close to the centre of Santa Eulalia town, it has a great variety of services close at hand.

Playa des RiuPlaya des RiuThe walk up the river to the old Roman bridge is very popular, yet very peaceful.

This area of town is to be the focus of the new mayor’s attention this year.

So we can expect to see a major facelift and a visitor’s centre, to educate all upon the important role the river has played in island life down the centuries

Similarly, a paddle along the shore is the perfect way to wake up if you’re lucky enough to live in Santa Eulalia.

Tomorrow is Playa Niu de s’Aguila
