From High Times

How would you like to attend an exclusive party for a week on the Spanish Rivera with such notable cannabis celebrities as Jorge Cervantes, Arjan of the Green House, Derry of Barney’s, Brett of Apothecary Seeds, Reeferman of Reeferman Seeds, and Steven Hager, editor-in-chief of HIGH TIMES?

HIGH TIMES recently announced the creation of a new event: the World Marijuana Film Festival, the first of which will be held on Ibiza from May 28 to June 3. Travel packages are available now from apothecarytravel.com/.

When the Cannabis Cup was opened to the public 13 years ago, 50 lucky people signed up to attend and paid only $50. We expect the first WMFF to be a very small and exclusive gathering, attracting mostly famous names in the marijuana community who also happen to be filmmakers.

Attendees will spend a week on the beach, screening each other’s films while sampling the best cannabis Spain has to offer. This is a unique opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the biggest names in the world of cannabis. All that’s necessary to attend is a love of cannabis and a love of watching movies.

Are you a budding filmmaker? Have you made a marijuana-related film or video? You could be a winner! Send a copy of your film (DVD, VHS or mini DV) to: High Times WMFF, 419 Park Ave. South, 16th Floor, NYC 10016, along with a check or money order for $100 for each entry. Films can be accepted in one of four categories: 1) feature film; 2) documentary; 3) short (under 20 minutes); 4) cultivation.

You do not have to come to Ibiza to enter, just make a marijuana-related film and send it in with the entry fee. Within three weeks of its arrival at the HIGH TIMES office, you will be notified whether or not it has been accepted into the competition. You could even win a distribution deal with HIGH TIMES Productions, as well as getting into the September ’06 issue of HIGH TIMES.
